The latest animation challenge on BIM is growing a plant. It is loosely based off of an old story about a man named Jack. I just made my entry today and here are two stills for it. Here it is link.
This is the contraption I used to hold the vine that grows from the ground. It was made with three castle tower pieces, one hinged piece, and two of those rod things.
This is how I had the vine come out of the ground. I built the platform, with a middle row of studs, off the ground. It is held up by four pillars. I also had to raise my camera and the backdrop.
Here is my entry into the BIM EASTER contest. The video could only be 20 seconds long. This is also the first video I've made in 24 fps! I think that I will stay with that instead of only 15. Tell me what you think.
